Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?

Finally becoming fed up enough with the extremely bizarre issue going on with my 07 XC70 that I'm probably going to make a thread on the issue. Long story short, something is going on with the connection between the computer module box and the engine fuse box that frequently causes the glow plug fus...

Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?

Tried to work on the heater hose but can't get the intake pipe out. Can't get the PTC nipple PCV vacuum line off. Anyone have any tips for this? any of the PCV related vacuum lines are going to be pretty much heat-fused on if they've been on for years. When I did my PCV on my XC70 this summer I end...

Re: Crank Case Upper PCV Vent hose completely removed -- OK to drive without? || 07' XC-70

Actually you can remove the hose in situ. I posted the trick somewhere in the XC90 forum... Basically a long flat screwdriver going in from the driver's side. Also, use an appropriate socket and enlarge the lower end of the hose, this way, it simply slides into the nipple connection on the box. A l...

Crank Case Upper PCV Vent hose completely removed -- OK to drive without? || 07' XC-70

Couldn't get my XC70 (07, 211k miles) to start after stopping by the gas station this morning; found the upper PCV hose to the crankcase (plastic instead of the older rubber, of course) snapped off. Taped it together enough to get it back home but managed to catch on camera it completely disintegrat...
