Re: Turbo Code Help 2007 XC70 - 126C: boost pressure sensor-signal too high
The turbo was replaced before I bought it. But what I was told is that it was a new factory replacement. Definitely not an upgrade. Sounds like my suspicions may be right, that this thing is set way high for some reason. I’m going to adjust down to about 5 and see if that solves my problem. I’m susp...

Re: Turbo Code Help 2007 XC70 - 126C: boost pressure sensor-signal too high
I wasn’t really able to work on the car this past week. But I’ve been poking around today and have some information. I’ve checked all lines and pipes in and out of the turbo, TCV, and waste gate and have no leaks anywhere. I still need to monitor voltage and signal out of MAP, so that’s on my to-do ...

Re: Turbo Code Help 2007 XC70 - 126C: boost pressure sensor-signal too high
I'd poke around in that Autel's menu to look for a way to switch code standards. Google: Q» what kind of codes does autel use? A» Autel scan tools utilize standard OBD-II codes, including generic (P0, P2, P3, and U0), manufacturer-specific (P1, P3, and U1), and pending codes. These codes are used t...

Re: Turbo Code Help
What reader are using? Make sure the codes map to the correct Volvo code in Vida It’s an Autel MaxiCOM MK808S. Can you explain your last sentence please? Been a mechanic for a long time, but this is my first experience with a Volvo. Codes come in two varieties (that I know of)... look at this page ...

Re: Turbo Code Help 2007 XC70 - 126C: boost pressure sensor-signal too high
No turbo leaks to speak of. There was a very small one at the hose that connects to the throttle body. Easy fix with a little snug if the clamp. I’ve ordered a pressure/vacuum gauge and am going to check the pressure coming out of the turbo to the TCV. As I mentioned before, I’m now suspect that I d...

Re: Turbo Code Help
At this point I would start with replacing/inspecting vacuum lines going to the waste gate actuator and TCV. IpD is selling great silicone hoses for this(i believe it was $20). If no leaks in the hoses, I would move to check if waste gate actuator is still working(hand held vaccum brake bleeder mig...
