Trying to remove intake manifold. Left most lower bolt obsurced by black sheet metal bracket I can't find in Vida. Does anyone know what this is/does? Pic below.

Water pump impeller not spinning and stuck closed thermostat will give the same symptoms I think. I don't think you can pinpoint either alone with a radiator temperature or flow check.
