Today, some firewood, it's a weeks worth for us. Just to tidy us over until we can get some delivered.

Drove mine through the car wash, it's been dirty for a month and temps are too cold for home washing. ABS light came on and the windows fogged up afterwards. ABS light cleared up next day but I wonder why the fog. Did it manage to fog up the cabin filter? I have one, fitted it myself.

It's a true PITA to remove, I used various small pliers. I then derusted it, painted it and filled in the groove with sikaflex.

Does using a trailer count?

Maybe the wheel is damaged? There's also a vacuum pump down there, I think....had to do with the cruise control. It does remind me of a vacuum pump now you mention it. Would a car without cruise control have it though? With wheel, you mean the cars wheels, I don't think so because I only ever hear ...

Then I wonder what the chugga chugga sound is... as far as I can hear it's coming from where the SAS pump should be.

I've heard this a lot lately when it's gotten colder outside, it's a pretty low frequency, bass-like sound. You start the engine cold and let it run for about 20 seconds and then this sound starts. Almost broke 30mpg this week with my 850 estate. Drove 200km with 5 people in the car after filling up, then to and fro work the rest of the week which is a 30km one way commute on straight roads with more moose than people on them.

That's great acetone I can get anywhere. MEK doesn't seem to be banned or anything here either so it's strange it seems hard to find, apparently it's the solvent in the hardener for the fiberglass polyester.
