Transmission slip on inclines/declines 2001 S80 T6
Sooo... Since I've had this money pit, I've had an issue with it seeming like the transmission slips on certain gradient inclines and recently felt it going down a hill as well. I basically have to feather the accelerator when this happens until it clicks into gear. I pretty much know exactly when ...

Re: Can anyone identify this sound?
There's nothing that sh!ts me more than trying to get help or follow a thread and the OP bails without a conclusion so I'll close this out.
The noise was in fact the disconnected evap line. The vapor canister setup seems to be different than on say a V70, the connector for the larger (upper ...

Seems like it's likely it's an unplugged evap line that should be connected to the charcoal vapor canister

Re: Can anyone identify this sound?
I've attached a picture of the loose connector, at a guess I'd say it's a quick connector that's meant to go to the fuel pump? How the hell is the thing not leaking fuel if this isn't connected?!
Does this mean I need to pull the seats out to get to the fuel pump? Fuuaaarkkk

Can anyone identify this sound?
Does anyone know what this sound is? Seems to be coming from near the fuel pump. There also seems to be a loose sensor or something near the fuel tank, I need to get under there to take a photo.
Please tell me the fuel pump isn't on the way out.

Re: Smoke/vapour coming from engine - 2001 S80 T6
Today the mysterious smoking stopped, very odd. Instead I had a good time throwing a bunch of engine codes and hitting limp mode because I put the TCV hoses in wrong and used too wide a hose clamp for the charge air pipe into the throttle body so it came off completely. Have fixed those issues, need ...
