Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?
Tried a whole load of those reset procedures for the service message over time not realizing that most of them would not work for my car. I went to the last page of that thread found the one last one in the thread worked. I didn't do every one from back to front in the thread but after a bunch didn'...

Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?
Put a little over 6,000 miles on my 2006 S60 since I purchased it in early February so I did my second oil change yesterday and am going to do a drain and fill on the transmission fluid since I have no record the last time or if it was done. I am guessing that it was at some point before the records...

Re: 2006 S60 2.5T AWD Parking Brake? Problem
Ultimately the pads separated from the shoes on the parking brakes. I am not sure if that was the exact issue that prevented the car from backing up, but it was the only thing that they could find. I had the shoes replaced and a rear brake job done. Thanks for the help on this.

Re: 2006 S60 2.5T AWD Parking Brake? Problem
It does hold when I engage the park brake. It does not roll like it did. I have an appointment for my mechanic to get it on a lift and take a look at it so at least I have a professional opinion if anything looks like it needs to be done or not. I will also have them look at my brakes at the so I kn...

Re: 2006 S60 2.5T AWD Parking Brake? Problem
I went under the car to try and get a better look after all of the feedback and then talking to my neighbor. I did not see anything that looked odd/out of place. I had not operated the parking brake since my last oil change a couple months ago but decided to engage and disengage it to see what would...

Re: 2006 S60 2.5T AWD Parking Brake? Problem
Thank you both so much. I am going to take off that tire and see if I can figure out what it is. I am not sure if I have the option of NOT driving it but I can certainly minimize it. I live about 2 miles from work and may be able to limit it to about 6 miles a day until I drop it off at my mechanics...

2006 S60 2.5T AWD Parking Brake? Problem
My car drives fine, I spent about 4 hrs on the interstate yesterday. After I was home yesterday when I put the car in reverse will not go more than one tire revolution in reverse. It feels like something is blocking the rear passenger rear wheel. I hear a sound and I feel resistance and the wheel wi...

Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?
Used the Sylvania Headlight Restoration Kit because my headlights were looking nasty and they cleaned up very nice. My only issue was a hair in the finish in the light on the passenger side. The lights look great, but I might try to redo that light after it cures. I think I might remove the bumper t...

Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?
I can only adjust the volume on my radio through the controls on the steering wheel and my fan speed knob also does that as well. I am guessing this is my issue. I guess that I will be taking this on sometime soon. Thanks for taking this on!

Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?
I just did my first oil change on my V60 and no sludge. It was probably a little before it needed to be by millage and time, but I wanted to get the appropriate oil in the car and know where I stood. I followed the directions in the Oil Change thread in the DIY specs. I did notice that and I do not ...
