Re: Front wheel hub vertical play 06 xc90 v8
I got a set of moog wheel bearings, and turns out I had the torque setting wrong, 37Nm with a second step 90 degree. Put new axles in as well as a warranty set of wheel bearings from moog and after reassembly there was zero play in either hub, also noticed quite a bit less vibration than I was ...

Re: Front wheel hub vertical play 06 xc90 v8
100% sure it's not the ball joint, axle on the drivers side has a tiny bit of play and passenger side has none i can feel. New axles will be here Monday and I put a warranty claim in for the wheel bearings which the new ones will be here Friday I believe.

Front wheel hub vertical play 06 xc90 v8
As much digging as I've done i cannot seem to find any information on the front hub issue I've been fighting. Aquired this car after it had been sitting for a good long time, noticed once I had it on the lift at work that the front hubs had a good amount of vertical play. Ordered a pair and ...

Re: Re: 2006 XC90 4.4 v8 High mileage transmission fluid change
Appreciate the help, never got a notification that anyone replied and I honestly kinda forgot I posted lol. Being a toyota line technician myself I actually happen to have a ton of the toyota T-IV that I've aquired over time. I'll start this weekend with pumping the fluid out of the transmission ...

Re: 2006 XC90 4.4 v8 High mileage transmission fluid change
So my new to me xc90 v8 has 173k miles on it and the service history of anything besides oil changes is unknown on it. Here in the next few weeks i had planned to begin servicing all of the fluids in the vehicle as it has sat for a long time, im not too worried about the differential and engine as ...

Re: 2006 XC90 4.4 v8 passenger seat belt removal from seat
Thanks for the help, I ended up undoing the bolt below that connection and fishing the airbag heness out of the seat. Battery has been disconnected for a while now as it needs to be replaced. Should be going back together with the car this weekend as the carpets have finally dried. I have quadruple ...

Re: 2006 XC90 4.4 v8 passenger seat belt removal from seat
Well im pulling the pillar of to re-apply the fabric on both sides since it's holding on by a thread and as far as I can tell the belt is secured with a rivet to the seat frame unlike the drivers side that had a torx bolt holding it in place. All the diagrams I could find for the passenger side seat ...

2006 XC90 4.4 v8 passenger seat belt removal from seat

So the issue im having is that I've currently got the drivers and passengers carpet out of the vehicle as well as the second row seats out due to the previous owner neglecting to take ...
