Re: Can new PCV box be defective?
Just a follow up. I did not take the car in and ultimately got things right. Here’s a quick rundown of work done to stop the crankcase pressure. Another smoke down revealed vac leaks at PTC and the bottom end of the intake hose that goes into turbo inlet. The PTC rubber boot was no longer sealing. T...

Do88 intake fitment on the stock 15G
Used a smoke machine to find multiple vac leaks in my original intake: the turbo inlet and the ptc valve. Ordered a do88 intake to replace the original one. It’s huge and clearly intended for larger turbos, but the instructions assure it will seal up to a stock turbo. It looks like a lot to band cla...

Re: Bad bulb indicator on when braking.
I had to replace the brake light switch when I had this problem. I was chasing the issue at the rear end of the car like yourself, switch bulbs and checking wiring with no solution. Ended up being a simple switch under the brake pedal. FCP and IPD have them.

Re: Can new PCV box be defective?
I am getting tired of chasing faults and it may be time to take it in. Thanks for all the advice. I’ll be sure to post the resolution later on.

Re: Can new PCV box be defective?
Sorry, delayed reply. The hook ups are correct but I have not dropped the pan. As the tutorial mentioned, I blew into the oil return port and heard bubbling and assumed I’m good. IMG_3588.jpeg IMG_3590.jpeg This was the PCV oil return on the old system and oddly crank case pressure was not an issue....

Can new PCV box be defective?
Used an aftermarket kit that I assume came with the cheap stuff. Replaced the PCV the system with no issues. Could not believe the state old system, btw. Did a test drive and had oil spray for the dipstick tube. Not the result I expected. Took everything back off to check my work and found no issues...

Re: Start and stall after injector service. 97 855t
Got it running again and figured I’d post the resolution. Luckily it was not hydrolocked. I did check the spray pattern by pulling the rail and rotating the injectors under and out. Definitely learned the hard way about the fuel rail’s quick disconnect. Gas went everywhere. Used a woodworking clamp ...

Start and stall after injector service. 97 855t
Hello everyone, 97 850t starts, runs for 1 second then stalls. Occasionally surges on randoms starts before stalling regardless. Exhaust smells of gas. Car ran fine prior to injector work. Had orange fuel injectors serviced by Injector RX in Texas. They were considered in poor condition prior to ser...
