Re: 03 XC90 Bad Turbo
Some of what i suspected as well. I am getting a second opinion and will go from there. Any good instructions out there to remove/replace myself?

Re: 05 xc90 leaking fuel
Check to see if yours is subject to the fuel pump recall. I replaced the fuel pump in my 03 XC90 about a year ago and they finally placed it as a recall. I have my reimbursement paperwork in (to the tune of almost $900). John

03 XC90 Bad Turbo
Last week I had billowing white smoke from the exhaust of my 2003 XC90 T-6, with 116k miles (tranny seems ok, go figure). Thought it was head gasket. Mechanic said it was a failed turbo (not sure which one yet) and wasn't sure why smoke wasn't blue. They want to replace both along with a host of oth...

Re: Rough Idle 2004 XC90 T6
I had similar issues with my 2003 XC90 T-6. I went to a local independent and it took some time by them (and a few days in the shop) but the issues is gone (for now). I had the misfire codes on two banks. replaced the plugs to no avail. Then replaced the coils, still no luck. After searching, my mec...

Re: pulls while braking
Had very similar issues on my 2003 XC 90 T-6 with 103,000 miles. I had heavy shimmying on breaking at higher speeds. I too was told no thickness to turn rotors (typical with all the Volvo's I've had). I replaced with new rotors and that took car of it. But, while "under the hood", I also n...

Re: XC 90 check Engine Light and Misfire
cam sensor seemed to be ok. They lubed the valve per the tech memo and drove around at high RPM's to burn it off. Put it back together, did another compression test. All cylinders read about 120. He said it could be the fix, or simply temporary. Running great now, but we'll see how long it lasts. Mi...

Re: XC 90 check Engine Light and Misfire
Well, brought it back to my independent and they have had it for a couple of days. They checked MAF and remaining coils. All tested ok, even tried new ones, but there was no difference. A tech bulletin apparently says to check engine compression (I guess a few of these have been popping up) to see i...

2001 V70 T5 - Dash Lights Out
It appears I have a couple of center console dash lights that have gone out (dark temp and air flow known). I know some interior panels slide up/down or left/right to "unlock" as opposed to simply pulling straight out. Before I try one way (and of course it will be the other way and I will...

XC90 rear Air
The rear air on my 2003 XC90 T6 only blows out of the passenger side vent. Are there separate blowers for the rear air, or some type of "splitter" that might be stuck or plugged, sending the air out of both rear vents? Thanks.
