Dash Lights Out

It appears I have a couple of center console dash lights that have gone out (dark temp and air flow known). I know some interior panels slide up/down or left/right to "unlock" as opposed to simply pulling straight out. Before I try one way (and of course it will be the other way and I will undoubtedly break a tab) how are the center console panels removed? Thanks.

This reminds me: any idea what kinds of lights are in the dash and center console of an '02 S60? Are they still incandescent bulbs or did they (finally) switch over to LEDs?
