Never mind. I need to get better at searching for answers first, rather than just posting the question.
looks like i'll be checking for vacum leaks and cleaning the maf, if not replacing it.
hopefully this will solve the problem of the cel.

Ok, a little searching and i ended up with:
p1171 fuel adaption bank 1
p1181 fuel adaption bank 2.
i've seen info saying that the 1171 could be a bad maf, or it could be the etm.
the car runs fine and there are no problems with the idle. just the check engine light.

i'm glad i stubled upon this. i need to replace the rear shocks in my '01 s80. from just looking at the set up on the car it seems pretty straight forward. the "special tool" 999 7079 i'm guessing is just to retain the spring so it won't go flying when you remove the shock? i'd assume ther...
