I have a 2000 (from 2001 in US) V70 T5. The air conditioning gives a long growl each time the car is started as the a/c compressor is kaput. The noise stops when the a/c clutch declutches after a few seconds. I don't need the a/c, so to solve this I want to omit the a/c compressor from the serpentin...
