Re: Air Conditioning Not Shutting Off after leaving car 2013 XC90

Reinstalled the old resistor and fan now runs and shuts down when the engine is turned off. All as expected. Cooling issue persists. Starts off warm and starts to cool if car is moving. Gets cool after 5 minutes. If standing still the a/c slowly warms back up. Does anyone have any ideas?

The blower motor was replaced DYI. The blower fan sits behing the glove box. I read in another post that it may be an issue wothe a resistor tgat sits behid the gas peddle.

Air Conditioning Not Shutting Off after leaving car 2013 XC90

Ok so the AC blower was replaced recently and things started to act up. The A/C takes about 5 minuters to start cooling. Plus in order to make the A/C kick in I need to start the car with the left and right temp nobs turned all the way to the left. After i start the car, if i move the temp controls ...

Volvo 2005 S60 - Difficulty Starting (Unknown Part Needs Identification)

I'm trying to troubleshoot an issue I have starting the car. The problem seems to be worse after the car has been sitting for a while especially when its hot outside. Please ignore the (Unknown part needs Identification) in the title. I've replaced the brake booster vacuum switch. 5 coils and the fu...

2005 S60 Engine Stutters When Accelerating at High Speed

I thought I would post a solution to a problem I was having with my car in case someone might find it usefull. At speeds around 50 to 60 mph if I pushed the accelerator down about an inch the engine would stutter like I was flooding it with gas. As soon as I started cruising again it would disappear...

Re: 2004 V70 Shiftlock stuck in Neutral/Drive

I had the same exact problem with the shifter locking in Neutral and Drive. Disassembled the knob. Found the pin had separated from the button and epoxied it back into position. it's tedious. There are youtube videos on how to replace the knob. Once you get it detached from the shift post, remove th...

Re: 2001 S80 T6 Siren Module Replacement/Repair - How To

2005 S60 2.5T Bought the new module online for $240. Followed the directions. Plugged the battery back in and tested before riveting the fender back. Locked and unlocked with the key 3 times. Good as new. Highly recommend getting the clip to hold the fender in place. Used a new vise grip to remove t...
