All; Sorry this is so late, but I did get the problem fixed, seems it was the "high dollar" intake hose. ( the 1 part I hadn't replaced :oops: ). The vacum pick up port in that had plugged solid, I thought it was still open. BTW did try the Seafoam, didn't help that problem but worked wond...

OK, I'm really befuddled now. I appreciate the input. I went out and did a compression test, 1) 160 PSIG,2)155 PSIG, 3) 150 PSIG, 4)160 PSIG, 5)150PSIG. Per the Volvo pocket data book, spec's say 1.1 to 1.3 MPA, with .2MPA max difference, 150PSIG is approx 1.03MPA, and 160 PSIG is 1.1 MPA a bit low,...

!998 V70 crank case pressurizing
I've got a 1998 V70 turbo, 168K miles that the cank case is pressurizing, and smoking. I've replaced the breather hose from the intake hose to the breather box(including the vaccum lines) replaced the box ( including attaching hoses, also the one from the cam carrier) I've blown air into the cam car...
