Any idea's guys?? I have since changed all the plugs, fuel filter, cleaned out the etm, cleaned out the vvt solenoid, tried a new mas sensor and preyed to several gods for devine help! Does anyone know if this engine will run if the timing's slightly out by a tooth? I also get a P0300 error on the o...

850 GLT 2.5 20v Tappy engine.....

Hi... I have an issue with the above. I have changed all the sump 'o' rings which I have to say were knackered. I thought at that point.... YEHHHHHH fixed it! Alas....no. The tapping improves significantly when the engine has reached temperature + 10 to 15 minutes of running. One other point to ment...

Mine does the same thing.... (looks like its raising an eye brow)

I'm going to remove the motor and see if its sealed or not.... I would imagine that it will be some kind of position switch thats tarnished or loose. I'll update the post and try to take some pictures while I fix it to help you. :D
