Oh, just done some research. It is a common problem (damn) the question is still valid though, Ebay have a single bolt for £15.50, is this reasonable?

Hi peeps, I need a little help. Does anyone know of a good (as in cheap) source for drive shaft retaining bolts? I took my S60 to get a couple of new tyres and when the fitter took a front wheel off, the bolt came with it. Is this a familiar fault?

Thanks jda2000. It didn't work but any help is useful. I'm not aware of any work previously being done on the door, so could this be a software fault? Seems very peculiar because the central locking does in effect work but just in reverse on the drivers door.

Shame you went to all that trouble. You can get a stereo that fits in and only requires a small mod with the wiring harness. Has anyone come across a drivers door that will lock using the key and remote and will also unlock using the key but not the remote?
When I use the remote I can hear the motor in the door moving but the door stays locked. Use the key and all is fine. The passenger door works as it should.
