Re: Importance of Reseting Fuel Trim (LTFT).

OK. I just disconnected the battery to work on something else for over an hour. I reconnected it. Should I do this again, turn the start key to on, re-connect the battery after several minutes, then turn the key off? A little confused by that. ~ John

850 wagon '95 NON-Turbo. What is the expected mpg if tuned?

Hey fellas. What is the expected miles per gallon for the '95 basic 850 wagon if tuned properly? I am getting 23mpg.

Re: 850 wagon '95 Courtesy lights/central locking kaput!!!!!

Thanks Lee. I previously pulled the door locking actuator and replaced it with another one that I discovered had 10 wires at the connector and not 12, which mine had. The replacement did not work electronically at all. So I found a working relay and put my old 12 wire lock back in. The lights work n...

Re: 850 wagon '95 Courtesy lights/central locking kaput!!!!!

Finally back to this project. I found the proper relay and at least the courtesy lights work properly, HOWEVER, the central locking is still erratic and acts on its own, especially when driving. Is it possible that a loose ground wire from the actuator on the right front is causing this? If so, how ...

Re: Headliner falling. How to repair? Need step by step. 850

Hey guys, great posts. My wife said this is definitely a Saturday job. I may bring my camera to document. Ya know, if it goes badly and gets all messy and wrinkly we can show it as a "How NOT to fix a headliner." Getting the trim pieces off will be important I think. Anyway, keep em coming...

Headliner falling. How to repair? Need step by step. 850

Does anyone have a step by step method of repairing/glueing the headliner. The 850 wagon has a big piece from front to back with no sunroof. How is the best way to do this? I know I need the 3M spray glue, but that is all I know. ~ vvhdr

Re: 850 N/A Throttleplate Modifications

Does anyone know if that piece of plastic on that throttle plate can simply be removed, thus keeping the throttle plate? If so, would that not be simpler than trying to find a 960 plate somewhere? I am looking to do this on my '95 850NA.~ vvhdr

Re: Cold air intake for 850's

Hey guys. New to the forum. Old 240 guy with five of them and just bought an 850NA wagon last week. Right off I noticed the cold air intake had pull away from the radiator area and was just sort of sitting back there near the filter box. The hose was gone. I found a couple of old spare intake hoses ...

Re: 850 wagon '95 Courtesy lights/central locking kaput!!!!!

Thanks very much. I am a 240 guy (I have 4 runners and 1 for parts) and can do some stuff. The 850 is a new animal to me. Very helpful and legible. So I guess that relay is accessible via under the dash and up in there? Just bought a set of TORX screw drivers and sockets for this car. Time to start ...

Re: 850 wagon '95 Courtesy lights/central locking kaput!!!!!

Thanks! I will do that. However, I was actually hoping for a bit more specifics from someone who has experienced similar issues with the 850 or similar model. Is there a relay somewhere to test? Haynes does not tell me where exactly. Does this happen frequently? If so, what is the likely culprit? A...
