no did not do either one. what is bedding and does the grease go between the caliper and back of the pad? what type/brand of grease? I have never had to do this with any other model of car and never experianced brake squeel, is this something that just happens with volvos for some reason?

brakes were getting thin, so purchased some EBC pads online. Dang things are the loudest squeeking things I have ever heard.
