Somewhere between the top mark and the top of that piece of metal. It was not up on the stick part. Could this be why oil sprayed under the hood?

Thanks for the advise about keeping the oil level about halfway between the bottom mark and the top mark. I guess I have been over-filling and stressing out for nothing.

After reading and looking over the attachment about the module rebuild, I'm not sure I can do it. The mechanics had told me it would cost about $1400 to replace the module. With labor what it is, I wonder if it will cost more than that to get a rebuild done. Do you have a guess or do mechanics even ...

I'll stop at the hardware store and get a couple of the rubber grips and see if I can get the cap off. Also, need one for the kitchen, just keep forgetting.

I have not seen any oil sprayed underneath the hood or over the engine block this week and the mechanic did say the seal was broken on the cap. Once I get the cap off and back on, I'll check daily to watch for any oil where it should not be. Also, I'll find out where the leak is and what it will nee...

Is there a danger of my brakes failing completely? Occasionally I feel a buzzing sound in the brake pedal when I begin to apply pressure on the pedal.

I called the mechanics and was told just to get a rag and put some muscle behind it turning counter-clockwise. Also that is the place to add oil.
