Missing or Faulty MAF Sensor (engine code 121)
My MAF on my '95 960 hums. The car starts and runs for a short while then dies out.
My question, is there a MAF diagnostic I can do?
Is the humming normal?
Thanks in advance!

Re: 960 fuel pump replacement
ok, found the fuel pump, and when i turn the key to "on" i can hear the pump prime for a second.
problem is, there is no pressure registering before the filter.
is this a bad pump?
i have managed to get almost 10psi at the rail, now i can't get anything.
ideas?

must the tank be dropped to replace the fuel pump or is it under the back seat? (or in the trunk?)

Re: busted oil cooler adapter
i've never owned a volvo before so i assume it's standard issue. the guys at my local volvo shop sold me a used one they salvaged. there were no seals in the adapter, and the oil cooler has a pin hole in it because apparently the previous owner bottomed out on something. i have a lot of confidence i...

Re: Significant oil leak
found out it was my oil cooler adapter. apparently the previous own had hit a rock with the cooler adapter and knocked a pinhole in it causing it to leak coolant.
then after removal i noticed that the seal from the adapter to the engine was non-existant. i'm really glad it wouldn't start...

busted oil cooler adapter
i need a new oil cooler adapter. does the 960 oil filter stick straight down?
my oil filter sticks out sideways off of an adapter. it looks like i could delete the adapter if i had the right threaded fitting to accept the filter.
is anyone familiar with this?
