My 1995 850 still has the origional auto transmission oil in it. I added Slick 50 at 40,000km and to this time the transmission is about the only part of the car that I cant fault!! Hi guys The 850, like several other models run a fairly advanced timing and require the 'knock'senser to pickup pre-ignition and retard the timing to suit the conditions. Over haul due
My 95 850 is showing signs of needing new piston rings. Unfortunately more than cleaning the PCV gear. Can anyone tell me if the pistons will come out the top of the engine so that I can do the job without removing the engine assembly. A bit disappointing really at 190000km.
