Yes, it would. Look for a leak upstream of the O2 sensor.

Thank you. As I Googled this topic at work, someone had the shown the cam gears on a Volvo tied up with HD zip-ties. The belt replacement can't be any harder than the one I replaced on my Subaru.

2001 v70 Timing Belt Replacement
Went to replace the timing belt on wife's 2001 V70 B5244S non-turbo FWD w/ 107k miles. AllData shows two different ways depending on if I want to "adjust" the VVT. Since the VVT was working, and I don't have a 999 5451 Adjustment Tool, should I go ahead and time the cams to the crank accor...

Groans from the Front End
Sunday my wife started complaining about noises from her 2001 V70. I jacked up the front end to investigate. What I tracked down seems to be coming from some of the "lubricated for life" sealed joints, especially from the tie rod ends and the sway bar link to the strut. Has anyone else has...

v70 2001 Passenger side Mirror
OK -Here's one I can't find in the service manual I bought for my wife's 2001 V70. The passenger side mirror will go up and down via the controls, but not in and out. I can hear the drive motor running, but it seems not to be connected mechanically to the mirror. Any ideas??
