Re: Looking at an '04 2.5t awd

As far as headlights are concerned, i think it all depends on what type of roads you drive on. In the city, it shouldnt matter. On the highways where there is no light, xenons would probably be helpful, however, I have used GE nighthawks and OSRAM nightbreakers, both of which are bright long life h...

Re: Wipers interlocked tonight!

Note the walmart bosch are not icons which is what they've promoted online heavily and are the ones most people talk about. They're a new midline that are very different from the icons. That said, I'm still a trico neoform guy. Get them online from wipers123 - good price and they have excellent cust...

Re: Anyone Tired of their Wiper Blades?

What is everyone using? I've been using trico neoform beam blades for years and they're awesome. Smooth, quiet, clean... (been getting them at wipers123 online and they update me periodically on how old they are which is a nice extra). Wondering if there's anything new I should be taking a look at b...

Re: Excellent Wiper Blades On Volvos

I'm not so sure its bent arms...Rain-X Latitudes didn't work due to stiffness and the Trico NeoForms (as mentioned above) work well. Just sayin'...

Re: Wiper blades (don't buy rain-x)

Yep - rainx has issues with being too stiff and their mounts seem to be either too loose or too tight - all of which causes poor contact with the glass. I highly, highly, highly recommend trico neoform wiper blades. imo they work great, are super quiet and they're substantially less expensive than r...

Re: V70 upgrade wiper blades

On most of our cars I use the Bosch Aero models which are expensive, but last a bit longer than standard blades, seem to clean the windshield better than most during their life, and due to their construction (similar to the Trico and Rain-X, I believe) are effectively a great winter wiper, too. Tha...

V70 upgrade wiper blades

Last fall I upgraded my wipers on the V70 to Trico NeoForm Beam Blades that have a teflon coating. I wanted to report that they work very well. They wipe clean and are very quiet (probably because of the teflon). Performed well in fall and winter (in wisconsin) and so far so good in spring. They cam...

Wiper Blades Replacement

I found aftermarket full wiper blades (rather than refills) for the Volvo XC90. I like to replace the entire wiper because of the abuse the ice and snow put the wiper frames through - I figure better safe than sorry. I went with Trico Tech Beam Blades. I've been a Trico NeoForm guy for a while, but ...
