Anyone Tired of their Wiper Blades?
I got so sick of the Bosch blades that Volvo uses- supplied by the dealer and/or bought at an autoparts store. Anyway, I recently ordered a set of Valeo wiper blades from tirerack for my wife's '04 V70 and was very pleasantly surprised at how sleek they are and how well they do the job. These don't clatter over the glass no matter how cold it is outside. I liked them so much that I ordered a pair for my S70 as well. I thought I would pass on the info to members here. Currently, it's buy one and get a second one free. http://www.tirerack.com/accessories/valeo/ultimate.jsp

MadeInJapan,
Glad to read your post. I'm in the market for new blades for my year-old car. The blades are streaking the windshield and I figure they can be replaced after a year on the road and how ever long they were on the car between manufacture and delivery. I went to TireRack looking for replacements and got a "no items match your search" response from their search engine.
I know that Valeo has blades that are the right length. I'll have to look someplace other than TR for them.

The new frameless blades do work better. Volvo started using them in 04 on some and then went across the line in 06. I have been buying those for all my vehicles when they need new blades. They are carried by several stores now and the prices are falling.
I got them for $7.99 EA at Costco a couple of weeks back for my sister's 99 S80.

What is everyone using? I've been using trico neoform beam blades for years and they're awesome. Smooth, quiet, clean... (been getting them at wipers123 online and they update me periodically on how old they are which is a nice extra). Wondering if there's anything new I should be taking a look at before I buy new wipers - I'm going to do all 4 of my vehicles before winter hits...
