fault codes state that ECU needs to be replaced or reprogrammed. Anyone have experience with this? What is the costs estimate

I have a major coolant leak coming in under the carpeting. Can anyone give me an estimate of the cost to fix this?

I accessed the web address you provided regarding the leaking coolant. That was on a 95 volvo and I understand that in 2002 everything under the hood was changed around.

The transmission light just came on while driving to the store. Is this related? What does it mean? Manual is no help.

My husband was replacing one bulb right after another on my S40. Finally discovered that if you use original volvo bulbs you won't be replacing them for a long time.

Definitely coolant. We think the heater hose may be leaking.
Does anyone know how to get to that?

Discovered car has cabin filter. when removed it appeared the coolant has been leaking through the heating vents onto the passenger side floor. (That was the odor). Coolant level was greatly depleted. But we can't seem to find where it is specifically leaking. Any thoughts?

My 2002 S40 has a horrible chemical odor eminating from the heating vents while the car is being driven. I have to drive with the windos open. Help! What is this?
