Re: Mid Grade Gas in Turbo?

Honestly, I haven't been running anything but high test in my n/a. I mean, what do you really save, $2 a tank compared to regular??? And you're not really even saving, since the high test fuel burns slower and cleaner.

Re: Let's see your Volvo (The Photo Thread)

LANDIE! 1995 Volvo 850 GLT, 210k on the clock and counting!
That would be her in my signature....this is my edit...I inserted her picture the first time, and it was a bit redundant.

Watch it and weep, @#$^#$^%$, that's a Volvo engine!

I know it's turbocharged practically to death, but that is still a Volvo engine!

This is a great video to show to people who just aren't feeling the love, haha.

2002 S60 T5 Manual....SE PA, creative advertising!

Found that on Craigslist, and thought I'd share. I wish there were pictures, but it sounds nice and I couldn't help but post the creative advertising! I'm sure pictures are probably available upon request.

Re: Wheel bearing? Highway noise?

I thought my wheel hub bearing was causing my grinding noise, so I had my friend replace it. Come to find out, that wasn't the noise but things were about to get ugly with those bearings anyway! So you can't always tell until it gets pretty bad. Better safe than sorry.

Re: Had to let it go....

Ugh, I'm dreading this with my Landshark. She's my first car, I've had her for 3 years or so, and she's got 211k on her! I drive her at least 40 miles a day for work, and an easy 80+ on the weekends, if I go hang out with my dad in the mountains. Seems like I fixed the odometer and did $700 worth of...

Re: Transmission Flush not recommended for 850's

As far as I know, drain & flush is NOT the same as drain & fill. Flushing implies that you are washing something through the system to clean it out, where drain and fill is just removing & replacing. With the latter, you're not disrupting any of your internals. Depending on what you're d...

Re: Driver's seat stuck in maximum recline position

Well I think I might just replace mine, since I'm going to the junkyard today anyway. Gives me an excuse to be there, and a good opportunity to open up a seat and take a look before having a go at my own. Hell, if I find a seat that's nicer than mine, I'll just take the whole thing. It's only $5 at ...

Re: Driver's seat stuck in maximum recline position

I need to tackle this one, myself. However, that bit about the airbag and the plastic clip kind of scares the living daylights out of me. Would unplugging the battery suffice on this as well, or is there a supplemental power supply to this airbag? Airbags make me cringe a bit when I have to work aro...
