It is a 8 mm bolt, or so. I use my box end wrench, if you own a ratcheting wrench it is even easier.

The bolt are captive, so when you loosen them they will not fall.

Pull down and print the downloads on the top of the board about the OBD engine codes. 311 code and the Model 240 is discussed along with diagnosing the speedometer signal. I guess if you test the wiring and are failing you can go from there about what to replace.

Is the throttle body clean and working correctly along with the throttle position switch? I just figured if it starts and idles fine the TPS or dirty TB could make you stall out.
