It was the vac hose to open and close the gate on the bottom of the air box.
Well I have gone through and replaced the rotor, cap, wires, plugs, coil, IAC and crank sensor. The car still feels the same. Thinking of replacing the injectors and maybe fuel pump.

Realy quick there is a vaccum gate under the airbox, does anyone know where this needs to go?

The CAT rattles but could be from the motor. It feels like your driving a dump truck at times lol. Vibration at Idle then smooths out till around 2500-3200rpm.

Yeah checked the hose yesterday when checking the IAC motor. they look clean with no holes. The IAC motor bearly makes a sound when key is fully on also.

Did the MAF Sensor on the way to work 10-13mi. It ran about the same, except for idle, it liked to die or stall.

I just reviewed OBD II codes. Have p0300,p0301,p0303,p0305, p1507 and p1505. I have 194,000 mi on car. Plugs, cap and rotor are only a year old. Cool, thats what i wanted to know. I really like the wagon but am having all kinds of issues. Vibrations and rattles. Tranny seems to be driving like a dump truck also. Passanger motor mount and torque mount (top) are new. Believe the CAT is going, rattle noise from it. Motor seem to accelerate fine...

Let me rephrase; I would like to swap the motor and tranny from the the 2000 s70 GLT SE (donor car) and place it the 98 v70. I figured the controllers would be differant but it would just be puting back the old sensors?

Would it be possible to take the motor and tranny from the s70 and dump it it the v70?

I have a 98 v70 base. Engine is going south in it. I have a chance to get a 2000 s70 GLT SE. Would it be possible to swap the motors?
