Re: Strut mounts, OEM or can I go cheaper?
Thanks guys for your advice. I will wait a few extra months to save enough to buy the good parts. It does make sense. Thanks again.

Re: Strut mounts, OEM or can I go cheaper?
Hello everyone, I know that you get what you pay for. But, will aftermarket parts really last just a few months? I would like your honest opinion about this suspension kit I found in ebay: goo.gl/Shnhf Is this worth it? I am trying to stretch my money and I am looking at a part's life of 7 years for...

Re: Throttle Position Sensor on 2000 Volvo S70
BEJinFbk, just want to say thank you! I did order the ETM from Xemodex. The car is running great! I put this together for anyone that might need some help as well as I had a difficult time figuring out how to get the cable out. Thanks again!!! Here is some information for anyone having this problem:...

Re: Throttle Position Sensor on 2000 Volvo S70
Thanks for the link!!! Excuse my ignorance as I am learning... I've been reading and it seems the throttle position sensor is part of the ETM unit and can not be replaced separately? The reason I asked is because Autozone was ready to sell me the TPS? It seems my problem lies on the ETM unit and/or ...

Throttle Position Sensor on 2000 Volvo S70
Hello everyone! Hope someone can help me. My check engine light came on. The ride is very rough and the car barely accelerates. I took it to Autozone and got the following codes: P1600 (Batt malfuction; open or short circuit condition) and P0221 (Throtle Pedal Position Sensor; poor electrical connec...

Re: 04 S80 T6 RPM go crazy on 1st gear
Thank you! You are right, I found more info about the Dexron VI and Dexron III. Dexron III meets Dexron IIIG (it seems they are the same). There is a data sheet about Dexron III here: www.lubadmin.com/upload/produit/FichePDF/lang_29/5420.pdf Is this a good oil; Valvoline Max Life ATF? Some info here...

Re: 04 S80 T6 RPM go crazy on 1st gear
Top it off with approx 7qts of Dexron VI when you are done. I've been pleased with Dexron VI in both the T5 (Aisin Warner AW50 tranny) and the GM 4T65E-GT in the T6. In my case I have done drain and fills only, no flushes. You can use the filter for 2000 Chevy Impala 3800, same filter but if you as...

Re: 04 S80 T6 RPM go crazy on 1st gear
Honestly, I wonder if the gear is slipping or if it is a turbo issue? Unfortunately, I am a complete rookie (determine to learn) and I am not able to diagnose in detail. Is there anything that can cause the turbo lag to last longer than normal? I am still planning to change the trans oil & filte...

Re: 04 S80 T6 RPM go crazy on 1st gear
/edit If you put it in geartronic mode, will it shift to up 2nd gear when you ask it to? When I use the geartronic, it will shift to 2nd gear, but there is still some lag. Also, when I've driven the car for a while, the same thing happens. It takes a while until it shifts and the RPM will go up to ...

Re: 04 S80 T6 RPM go crazy on 1st gear
Thank you so much guys!!! Ok, I am going to try and do the oil and filter change this weekend. I am a rookie at this and have never done this (have done the engine oil, not transmission). I will get the Chevy filter at Autozone. Regarding the geartronic mode; I have not tried this, but I will tomorr...
