Its probably the headlight switch that is faulty ............... it is actually a switch and combined control module but does not require software to enable when its replaced as it is a CAN-Bus slave module. They have been known to fail but it is quite unusual.

The handbrake shoes are self adjusting so maybe you have seized adjusters ? .......... also check the linings are still bonded to the shoe ! To adjust the cable (which does stretch with time) ......... carefully prise off the trim at the base of the handle and lift the trim together with the glove. ...

This is due to a blocked oil separator which is part of the PCV system (positive crankcase ventilation). The separator is under the inlet manifold and it is easier to replace rather than clean.............. If you leave it then there is a strong chance that the crankcase pressure will get too high a...
