That would be a seriously time consuming job. And I don't know that what you would end up with would look all that good - I don't know that it is the same gray plastic that base models came with. I'd buy used panels off e-bay. They come up quite a bit. No way would I spend my time trying to get that...

Disconnect cigarette lighter on 70 series??

I am trying to remove the center console on my 99 C70, and have everthing disconnected except I cannot figure out how to disconnect the two cigarette lighters to free up the console. They appear to be hard wired with no disconnect anywhere near. I'm sure it's simple, but how do I do it?
