You can do it yourself. Get a case of Toyota Type IV ATF, or Mobile 3309, or another JTS 3309 compatible ATF . Then drain the ATF , you should get about 4 quarts. Add the same amount of new fluid. Check the level and drive the car. Maybe a week later, do that sequence again. Then again . By ...

We'll wait and see if someone chimes in, but I've not heard of any B4 servo cover issues for post-2002 Volvo's . That alone is good news.

Am almost through replacing the front left pad on my '03 XC70, but haven't been able to get the spring clip back on to secure the the new pad to the caliper. Anyone remember an easy technique ? Perhaps put the ends of the spring in the caliper holes FIRST ?

Checkout partsgeek.com for your sensor. Call them and get better advice than online.

First thing I'd look at is your tires. I've had problems like this with worn tires ( in 1964, in fact ) and solved it with a new set of "retreads" . Anything to do with wheel alignment, bushings, etc can come into play, I suspect.

I'm working on my 2003 XC70 on front ramps, and there's plenty of room under there. I have enough clearance to use a cat-litter bucket to catch the old tranny fluid, and that really cuts down on the mess. Make sure to look at your lower transmission torque bushings while you're browsing around.
