Zip tie is fine. My indie recently put the wife's back together with zip ties and declared it good to go.

The wife's 06 had the same issue. Turns out some PO had changed the fluid and put the wrong kind in.

Had the indie flush it twice and it is 90% better, still pulses a bit most noticeably on long left curves.

Changed the fluid, reset with VIDA, no diff. It's the shift points (specifically engine RPM, lock-up, etc) that are very different, especially at mid-throttle. Drove a friends 2004 and her shift points are closer to the 2006 (hers is faithfully serviced by the dealer).
