Expensive fix
I had to have the ignition lock cylinder replaced in my 2001 s40- it costed me 460$ and also I didn't have my car for 2 weeks. Does that cost seem right for that or rather expensive? That was at the dearlerships cost-

Found out the problem
Alright- I had the car towed and found out it is the ignition lock cylinder. What causes these to go out? An expensive problem for owning the car for 3 months. I"m thinking I should sell it after this ordeal and by something a bit more reliable. I'm scared what the future holds after reading th...

2001 S40 won't start
I've had this car for the past 3 months and bought it thinking it would be a very dependable and reliable car. Last Friday I got in and turned the key and have full battery power but it won't crank- it seems like there is an immobilizer on or something? I'm wondering if anyone else has had this prob...
