Re: Fuel rail pressure
I have a stumble which sometimes is followed by a stall immediately after start up. It does it after sitting overnight or after several hours. It NEVER does it on a restart. I never said what my fuel pressure observations were. But, when running it starts out at 51 psi immediately after start up and...

Fuel rail pressure
What should the fuel rail pressure be with the gauge hooked up, key in position two with the engine NOT running on a 2007 xc-70?
With the engine running I have read that it could be anywhere from 42 to 51 psi, depending on barometric pressure.
Thanks in advance.

Re: 2001 V70 XC Ignition Coil
I have a code reader, its just that I would prefer to not rely on the computer to set a code. Seems to me that it would be way easier to buy a DVOM and know how to use it than to switch the coils.

Re: 2001 V70 XC Ignition Coil
Is there a way to diagnose the coil using a DVOM and by taking a couple readings by measuring the OHMs?

Fuel pressure diagnosis questions on a 2007 XC70
I am trying to chase down the cause of a brief engine stumble which is sometimes followed by a stall immediately after starting. It is not consistent but usually happens after sitting for more than an hour or so. Never does it twice in a row on a restart. Runs and idles smooth otherwise. The plugs h...

Re: Proper spark plugs and gap
Respectfully...I never trust pre-gapped plugs. Just like the pre-washed salad in the bag at the grocery store....I always find sand in it.

Proper spark plugs and gap
I am looking at replacing the plugs with Volvo number 8692071.
Can anyone confirm that these are the correct plugs and tell me what the proper gap is?
Is the a direct Bosch equivalent part number for individual plugs?
