Disable power seats temporarily?
Hi. I would like to disable the power seats in my 96' 850 temporarily. I looket at the fusebox but I cannot see any fuses for the power seats.I read that circuit breakers 38 and 39 underneath the cover for fuse box are for the power seats. Now the question: Will I set off any fault codes if I remove...

850 instrument cluster with and w/o trip computer
The temp meter in my 96' 850's cluster (with Turbo needle) started acting up a few years ago and it has progressively got worse. The needle drops to "off" level intermittently when I am driving the car and then jumps back up to the proper level after a few minutes. (The problem is with the...

Re: 96 850T5 engine temp gauge intermittent problem
Thanks for all the replies. The coolant level is at max and as far as I know it's self bleeding so no worries there. The problem has not come back, which is really annoying. Nothing worse that intermittent electrical problems. The wires by the temp. sensor contact near the intake manifold look reall...

96 850T5 engine temp gauge intermittent problem
Hi I noticed today when I was driving that the temp gauge was all the way down, as is the ignition was off. After a few minutes whoops it was back on, pointing 3 o'clock as it should. The car ran fine all the time, did not seem like the engine was running rich or anything so I do not think that the ...

Distributor (cap + rotor) for the 2,0 liter T5 (850)
Hi. I am in Europe and have a 96' 850 T5 with a 2,0 liter engine. I will order distributor (cap + rotor), spark plug wire to my car from IPD and they do not have my engine in the drop down list as these cars with smaller displacement were never imported to North America as far as I know. Will the di...

Re: Odd temp sensor issue
Thanks. I sprayed the temp sensor connector along with the ECU connector. The thermostat is also relatively new and the system is bled out. The problem seems to be in the wiring harness someplace but I have no idea how to localize the problem.

Odd temp sensor issue
Hi. The car is a 1996 850 T5 2.0 auto (same as the regular T5 other than the smaller displacement) I am having an odd issue with my car since thursday. The temperature needle in the dash started fluctuating last week so I changed the sensor. Now the situation is that: -The car starts fine when cold ...
