Re: 1998 V70 T5 P0141 Code
Well, last night I disconnected/reconnected the rear O2 sensor cable (plus extension) last night, disconnected/reconnected the negative battery lead, and crossed my fingers. So far, so good this morning on my 10-mile commute... No CEL as of yet!

Re: 1998 V70 T5 P0141 Code
Thank you. When you say "sealed" what are you referring to specifically? Outside of giving each sensor a "good tightening" and making sure they are fully seated, is there something else I should have done on installation?

1998 V70 T5 P0141 Code
I recently replaced my stock exhaust with the IPD turbo-back system. I had a P0141 code come up and replaced the rear O2 sensor with a new Bosch unit. Unfortunately, that didn't resolve the problem (still getting the same code). Assuming the sensor is OK, I've been told to check the wiring. Outside ...

Re: PCV System Repair on a Volvo 5-cylinder
Problem solved! The line on the bottom of the idle control valve was knocked off by the shop where I had work performed earlier this week. Reattached - idle problem eliminated and turbo boost has returned to normal. However, CE light came on during the last outing... to be determined.

I'm with you - but, nothing reveals itself with carb cleaner sprayed around the suspect connections.

V70 T5 Problems - idle, turbo boost
I've had some discussions with jablackburn this morning about some problems I've encountered with my 1998 V70 T5 - namely, stuttering when you step on the gas from a stopped position & I have no turbo boost, whatsoever. The following e-mails contain some of the background leading up to my curren...
