I recently replaced my stock exhaust with the IPD turbo-back system. I had a P0141 code come up and replaced the rear O2 sensor with a new Bosch unit. Unfortunately, that didn't resolve the problem (still getting the same code).
Assuming the sensor is OK, I've been told to check the wiring. Outside of verifying that all connections are solid, does anyone have suggestions on how to "check" the wiring? Can the connectors be cleaned with carb cleaner, etc.?
I should add that IPD provides an extension due to their revised location of the rearward O2 sensor (thinking that may be another problem area).
Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

Thank you. When you say "sealed" what are you referring to specifically? Outside of giving each sensor a "good tightening" and making sure they are fully seated, is there something else I should have done on installation?
Well, last night I disconnected/reconnected the rear O2 sensor cable (plus extension) last night, disconnected/reconnected the negative battery lead, and crossed my fingers. So far, so good this morning on my 10-mile commute... No CEL as of yet!

I would say that the problem is more likely your new exhaust rather than the O2 sensor wiring itself (unless you snipped a wire by mistake). The spacer works for about 70-80% of the cars out there, but some are just too particular and will keep throwing codes (most likely because the spacer is too short for your car).
At this point you've got several different options...you can either get a tune for it that eliminates the reading altogether from the rear O2 sensor (expensive, but you'll get even more power!), install a different spacer (http://volvospeed.com/vs_forum/index.ph ... ct-review/), OR try an O2 sensor emulator. I believe Phil (moderator phils94850) tried one of those - you can shoot him a PM and I'm sure he'll be glad to tell you about his experience with doing that.
