Re: Re-keying a 2007 V70

Thanks for the reply, nsjames. My point is that whoever stole the key lives in this area and if 'he' gets into the car and finds that the key won't start it, chances are the interior and even under the hood might get torn apart, defecated upon, or whatever. I already on my options with the dealer an...

Re-keying a 2007 V70

So you people won't think I am crazy, herewith background info: a set of my keys was stolen and included my car remote/key and house keys. Yes, I have replaced all the house locks. Since the theft was from my home, I went to the dealer for a re-keying (expensive but cheaper than a new car or destroy...

Re: V70 XC 2001 - Tailgate open message

Jim: Was rechecking 'tailgate open' posts as my warning light is now on constantly altho tailgate is securely closed. I suspect the lock internal connections as mine came on when I hit a hard bump. My primary reason for this post though is to point out that the alarm system will not activate/arm wit...

Re: Which Brand of Radiator Do You Recommend?

As noone else has mentioned the xmsn cooler lines kit, in my experience you would be best to get it.
The OE ones (and others??) become brittle/crack up due to the heat etc. Can't speak for any particular
brand.

2005 V70R for sale in NE Florida

If anyone is interested, there's a 2005 V70R on craigslist, Jacksonville FL. 65000 miles. I have no personal knowledge
of this car but based on the area (Ponte Vedra Beach), it is probably well maintained. I think he was asking $14700 or
thereabouts.

Re: V70 XC 2001 - Tailgate open message

Jim: Sounds to me like the tail gate is not actually closing all the way (lock not closing fully onto the striker/bar). I believe the locking set-up is the same on my '99 V70 and, if so, is pretty easy to adjust. Remove bottom facing strip around the striker and up the sides and you can access the b...

Re: V70 rear wiper sprayer repair?

Had the same problem with my '98 V70. There are two pumps, one for front windshield and one for rear. Both are located under the passenger-side (right-hand) wheel well liner. Before you go there, be sure that it is the pump. Rule out stopped-up nozzle, blocked hose, etc. You can hear the pump if it'...

Re: Cd changer V70 1999

Nicopag: I just happen to have a remote CD changer with all cables (just in case yours are not pre-installed) -
'brand' new in original box/pkgs. As long as you have the correct radio it supposedly will fit. You can verify
with dealer. Part #3533937. Make me an offer if interested.

Re: asimba2's 850 Turbo thread

It certainly cleaned up nicely, huh?
In case you didn't already know, skins are available from elwoodindustries.com;
$180 for the seat bottom, etc. I believe there's a thread here on the MVS site.
Upload some interior pics when you finish it?
