Re: 2000 V70 Oil Pan Replacement help!
Thanks. It does seem to be a chore from what I can see. I am going to weig my options at this point. Basically someone mutilated by bolt to the pan when taking it for an oil change. The bolt looks like it was hammered back in to the pan, so I wanted to avoid cutting it out. However looking at what i...

2000 V70 with 165k miles no power during take off
I have a 2000 V70 with about 165,000 miles on it. I have been having trouble with my battery (I'm assuming it's this due to a corrosion on the cable)) and often had to have it jump started recently. Lately, once it started the overdrive light (it's a orange arrow) stays on and flashes. when I try to...

Re: Fan not on after I turn off the Volvo
The fan is not staying on. It use to stay on on a hot day just like the other person described above. I am concerned because it is NOT staying on to cool the car anymore. So, as i mentioned before my car is already hot when I start it. It's a weird situation.

Re: Major Exhaust smoke
So here is the outcome. I blew a head gasket and my turbo went out. Go figure. i was able to ge them both fixed for $2000 and it was a sound investment considering i plan on driving my wagon for years and years to come. I have a 5 year old who's gonna need a car some day :) . Thanks for everyones's ...

Re: Major Exhaust smoke
After it heads up. it actually seems to get worse after I drove it last. So i pulled over and have driven it about 10 miles since then. I've started it and like I said it seems to idle fine and there is no ils leaks under the hood or large amounts of oil anywhere.
