I have just found out the cause of the problem thanks to the main agents supercomputer (expensive diagnosis). Apparently the water has got into the CEM unit and caused corrosion to the contacts. It will require a new CEM unit (Car brain) at a cost of over £1000 (Sterling). Pleased I am not!

Thanks for that but the bottom engine cover is in place. You're probably right but which connector I wonder ?
