Intermittent Tachometer readout?
Hi All, this is a 1994 850 NA Base, 185K and most things required have been done. PCV, TB, WP, Cam sensor, Crank sensor, Exaust cam seal, wires, etc. It runs great! However, my tachometer seems to work intermittently. It operates most of the time but every now and then it will read 0 when I start an...

Thanks to EVERYBODY who posted here, I am relieved that I won't have to listed to that infernal CLICK, CLICK, ...

Re: Clicking behind heater/ac controls
My 94 850 NA with MCC just started this clicking yesterday. My clicking sounds like it's right behind the glove box. Nothing stops it and everything works! Pulling the GB today to see what I can find. Sure won't be hard to locate. BTW I only have to turn the key to pos ll, no need to start the engin...

Re: Help with codes
Check out www.actron.com. They will have the codes but you will need to know what system set the code. Check it out you will see what I mean. If you don't know the system, just start going down the list and try and find it. Hope this helps.

Re: 1996 Volvo 850 GL - Idle problem and stalling
After all I have read and the problems I have has with my 94 850 Sed Non-turbo the first thing I think you should try is replacing the Fuel Pump relay. It starts to idle rough because it's not getting enough gas. Mine would do almost the same thing. It would stall as I was coasting up to a light, ch...

Re: AC pressure specs?
Well I'm sorry to say that I jumped the low pressure switch you showed me and it still wouldn't start (clutch would not engage). But like I said the light on the dash comes on when I push the compressor switch to on. So to test the clutch, I ran a hot lead (+) directly from the battery to the clutch...

Re: What's up with the "DONATE NOW" button?
I kind of "inherited" a 94, 850 Sed, non-turbo about a month ago, knew nothing about them. It had been sitting for 10 months, the pads were rusted to the roters and it barely started. The dash lit up with every light possible, SRS, ABS, CIL & SERV lights with oil almost gushing out of ...

Re: AC pressure specs?
A 94 850 Sed, Manual AC. Typing on a phone. Akward at best. I have a good basic knowledge of how ac works. My compressor was cycling often with slight cooling indicating low freon. I connected to the low side but had trouble getting the connector to snap on, loosing freon each attempt. Finally it sn...
