How long should this stay iluminated, 05 2.0d Mine stays on for less than a second. Is this to short?

Ive used tar remover to get rid of sticky stuff.

Just been to my mechanic and he said there is a bit of vibration but not a terrible amount to worry about. After 10 years of driving petrol cars these diesels take some getting used to lol.

So basically from what ive found out is ford used the engine from the volvo, and ford used parts of the volvo chassis in the focus. Dam theives lol.

Is my s40 (05) a rebaged focus?

Its the service light, i took it on a good long run 300 miles and its starting a bit better now. Just the rocking is there a chance it could be the dog bone mount?

Its struggling to start when cold and my service light has come on and it only just been serviced, am wondering wether the DPF could be causing it.

I have a slight engine rock (forward and backwards) on idle that i can feel in the car can anybody suggest whats causing this? Thanks (2005 s40 2.0d)
