Re: Help With Fuel Line Part ID
Had the dealer order me a new roll-over valve. It definitely is NOT the correct part, and this explains why the salvage yards couldn't find it. Whatever this part is, it connects directly to the fuel filter via a short piece of fuel line (see pic attached). The Fuel Pressure Regulator sits on top of...

Re: Help With Fuel Line Part ID
Well, apparently the largest salvage yard in the SE doesn't have the part in any of their yards. They pulled the wrong part twice even after I sent them many pictures. They remove the gas tanks from the vehicles and the rep i talked to thinks they remove the valve when they do that. Of course, why w...

Re: Help With Fuel Line Part ID
OK so to clarify that I haven't confused parts here... in the 2nd picture from my original post, the silver/black cylindrical part (middle right) is the FPR and not the fuel filter? The fuel filter is the large cylinder (which you can only barely see the end of) in the lower left of the second pictu...

Re: Help With Fuel Line Part ID
I can't make much sense out of the hose diagram since it doesn't include the filter or FPR. I wouldn't even attempt to bypass it since I have no clue what it is. I'm guessing it's there for a reason. One of the things I like about Volvo is they seem to think of everything. One of the things I don't ...

Re: Help With Fuel Line Part ID
Thank you RW! Actually if I look inside the line where it broke off, I can see the other end of the plastic thing so i'm fairly certain there is no other piece. The mystery continues...

Re: Help With Fuel Line Part ID
Thank you! I'm not sure... I haven't come across anything that mentioned roll-over valve but I will def search online. I would think if that were the part, then Haynes or something somewhere would say to disconnect the FPR from the roll-over valve housing or some such. But notta. I didn't measure bu...

Re: Help With Fuel Line Part ID
Whatever the part is, the Fuel Pressure Regulator is attached to it and sits on top. It makes absolutely no sense to me why a replacement part does not exist? No mention of it in Haynes either. The short line (abt 6-8 inches) that goes from the fuel filter into whatever this black plastic housing my...
