Sorry. They are the mechanic shop I finally took my car to. The ignition module was the reason my 240 would turn over but not crank.( see original thread). The price definately surprised me. Also did not know a mass air flow mwter could be purchased used. I'll check that out. Thanks P.S. The curse r...

The cranking problem was a bad ignition module ( 195.00$$) now they tell me it needs an air flow meter another 468.00$$ .lookss like I bought a cursed 240

still won't start
I have ruled out a fuel problem. I changed plug,wires distributor cap and button and replaced coil. Still nothing.

92/ 240 turns over will not start
bought a 92/240 yesterday ,ran fine ,changed plugs ,distributor cap and rotor also replaced bottom radiator hose,now it turns over but won't crank. It did sit for a year before I bought it.
