Start with the basics. If it cranks but does not start, you're lacking either spark or fuel. Double check your cap, wires and rotor to make sure they are installed correctly. Hook up a timing light to see if you have spark. Lack of spark could be a bad distributor pick-up. If you confirm spark and correct ignition set-up, but still no start, then check for fuel delivery. There is a fuel pump relay that powers the two fuel pumps in your car. Each fuel pump is powered from a separate circuit. Jump across the terminals of the fuel pump relay slot to verify relay integrity. Also check the in-tank fuel pump fuse. If blown, pull the in-tank fuel pump and inspect the fuel pick up filter sock. If you see any holes in the sock, you will need to replace BOTH fuel pumps and filters at the same time. Also, you should try tapping on the main fuel pump with a blunt object and try cranking again. If it starts, then the main fuel pump is on the way out.
Anyway, try these things and let un know what you find.

Time to check for spark and work your way backwards. Hook up a timing light on each cylinder and check for a spark impulse. Don't have a timing light, then take one of the old spark plugs, plug it into each wire, ground the electrode and see if you get a spark across the gap when you try to start it. If you have spark, check to make sure the wires are correctly installed and that the timing is correct. If no spark, check to make sure you didn't forget to install the rotor (I did this once). Also check to make sure you connected the wires to your coil correctly. Then, if all else fails, look at the Halls effect sensor in the distributor. Good luck and let us know what you find.

Who is "They"?!? You can get a good used air mass meter for less than that. And they are easy to put on.
A bad ignition module will do what happened. Your car is not cursed. These items have a tendency to fail over time.

Sorry. They are the mechanic shop I finally took my car to. The ignition module was the reason my 240 would turn over but not crank.( see original thread). The price definately surprised me. Also did not know a
mass air flow mwter could be purchased used. I'll check that out.
Thanks
P.S.
The curse remark should have been left out ,it is directed to my employer who sold me the vehicle after months of telling me it ran perfect ,nothing wrong at all.I drive it 20 miles and boom thins start breaking (wearing out).
