Service light comes on car dies and goes off.
I've had the mass flow code for a few weeks now. I just replaced my fuel relay and pump and now I'm curious if I should just go ahead and change the mass flow air sensor or do I have another issue? The car will run rough when I first start it, but not always. When it does the service light comes on....

Re: Changing fuel pump 98 S70... help!
I figured it out. I think now I can easily change a pump in under 30 min. The "wax" stuff was definitely not supposed to come out. I fixed it though with some foil and a lighter. I was just changing the pump and not the core. Once I knew what I was looking at it went pretty easily. I've go...

Re: Changing fuel pump 98 S70... help!
k figured that out.... now i try and unplug the wiring and it has some funky wax stuff in the terminal and I can't get it to come out.
update:
That wax stuff wasn't meant to come out... totally sweet.
Any help is appreciated, can't seem to find any documentation online.

Changing fuel pump 98 S70... 2nd line stuck
So I have the cover off and I've managed to get one of the lines off the pump housing but the 2nd will not be moved. Curious if there is some sort of trip from getting these things off so I can get on with my life.
I can post a pic if that helps.

Re: 98 S70 140K miles Fuel Pump?!
Would that code cause no throttle response? I think they're separate issues. I did the "hit-it" method and it cleared the code.

98 S70 140K miles Fuel Pump?!
Hey guys, Great site. I purchased a higher miles 98 T5 S70 in the fall and love the car to death. I started getting a random issue where the care would sputter and I would lose throttle response. Sometime the car would die. It first happened about 3-4 months ago and really freaked me out. I checked ...
