Thanks for your reply. We've checked and tightened all the ground cables and they all seem ok. Connected the starter ground to the engine just to be sure.

Hello, Can anyone help. I have replaced a clutch in a V40 and disconnected the battery to do so. Now when I try and start the car a clicking noise comes from the engine and a red light flashes on the P/S speaker and the engine wont start. I think its the immobiliser kicking in.
