You're right - the fluid flows from the bottom of the transmission up to the return at the top. I would use the bottom hose as your flush point. Awesome! Thank you very much for the help! And bye the way, do you know what size tubing I need to purchase in order to attach to the transmission output ...

Okay, I found the hoses. I did the obvious and crawled up under the vehicle to trace them from the tranny to the cooler. They actually connect at the base of the cooling system. So is the line that connect the cooling system to the top of the tranny the "return" line? I am thinking the out...

ATF Flush DIY...

I am a little confused and need some help regarding an ATF system flush for my 2001 V40: Basically, where is the point at which the transmission enters and exits the cooling system? I thought it was at the upper driver side corner of the radiator, but I do not see it there. Also, there should be one...
