if you disconnect the battery for a few minutes it will reset the computer and the check engine light will go off for a few miles

S70 T5 Catalytic Converter problem
How do i know if I have a bad catalytic converter? My car will only idle and stalls out as I try to drive . I smell a bad rotten egg smell.
